Duty Manager/Floor Manager

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Abbeygate Cinema and No.4 Restaurant and Bar is seeking a Duty Manager/Floor Manager to join its experienced and committed team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

The Duty Manager/Floor Manager will oversee all front of house staff. Ensure all cinema customers are served promptly, and ensure all meals are served quickly, courteously, and in compliance with sanitation regulations in a clean and attractive environment.  This position will be responsible for managing all front of house services.

The role will involve working closely with the General Manager and Head Chef to promote and increase food and beverage sales.

Duty Management roles include security, health and safety for the public, being the general coordinator responsible in the case of evacuation and key-holding.

A passion for hospitality, film and food is essential.

The job requires 40 hours’ work per week. Important to note, shifts will mostly include evenings and most weekends.
