Duty Manager

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Located opposite Hackney’s iconic Town Hall, Hackney Picturehouse has become a key East London hang-out since opening in October 2011. With six screens, the Picturehouse caters for cinemagoers with an appetite for stimulating film, screening a diverse mix of quality blockbusters, world and art-house cinema, cult favourites and independent releases.

It has also become a venue of choice for a variety of fantastic film festivals including London Film Festival, East London Film Festival, Fringe!, and the London Short Film Festival. Two bars and a kitchen complete the building to make it the perfect venue for big cinema events and private hires.

Picturehouse also host regular cinema clubs for a diverse demographic including Autism-Friendly and Dementia Friendly shows.

Hackney Picturehouse is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager who can bring passion, innovation and the Picturehouse way of working to this exciting venue.

Please note there is a requirement to work 40 hours per week over any of the seven days with some shifts being at evenings and weekends.
