The Lexi Cinema is looking for a Duty Manager to join their team.
About the role
The role of Duty Manager is paramount to the smooth running of The Lexi and our audience overall experience, and requires an enthusiastic, hospitable leader with a passion for film and previous work in cinema or other front of house roles to complete our team! Prior experience managing a team is preferred, and venue-specific training will be provided.
This is a variable-hours contract, comprising at least 20 hours per week, of weekend and evening work.

The Lexi is an independent two-screen neighbourhood cinema. We’re also a social enterprise, giving 100% profits to charity, and our box office and bar are staffed by our committed team of local volunteers. The Lexi also has a dedicated outreach programme and regularly works with community groups and partners to ensure that we are accessible to all types of audiences.

Interviews will be the following week, preferably in person, so that we can walk you through the venue, but we can also arrange a Zoom interview if needed. You’ll be interviewed by Rosie our Cinema Director and Zoe, our Operations Manager. Training shifts (paid) will be in February, and this role starts in March 2024.
