Salary: £50,000-£55,000
LUX is looking for a committed and entrepreneurial individual to become their new director and make a significant contribution to supporting artists and advocating for artists’ moving image in the UK.
The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic and operational leader, passionate about contemporary visual arts and the value of the public arts sector. They will need excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate and negotiate with a wide range of people, able to think on their feet and stay calm in a busy environment.
LUX is a charity and not-for-profit organisation originally founded as an artist-run cooperative, although we are no longer a cooperative the values of equity, equality and democracy are key to all of LUX’s work and we expect everyone who works here to share and promote those values.
