Customer Services Assistants (Temporary)

Salary: £7.78 per hour (or NLW if applicable)

Showroom Workstation is an independent charity, operating an integrated media arts complex with café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

We are looking for fixed-term Customer Services Assistants (CSA) to join our team for the duration of Sheffield DocFest 2019.

Applicants with bar experience are encouraged but responsibilities will vary – the role will involve selling and serving food and drink in the bar, on the barbeque or in the deli area in the Workstation which will be created specifically for the Festival. Duties also include general customer care, replenishing stock and keeping public areas clean and tidy throughout the Festival.

It is very important to note that successful applicants must be available for training on Monday 3rd June (day time) or Tuesday 4th June (evening) and should be available for shifts between Thursday 6th – Tuesday 11th June 2019. Shifts will be for approximately 8 hours and you will be rotad to work between 8 am and 10 pm.

Experience is an advantage but not essential – we’re looking for staff with great people skills, a can-do attitude and with a passion for excellent service. Bar or barista experience would be helpful, but full training will be given to the right candidates.

This is a fixed term contract but we are always on the look-out for great staff and those who impress us may be offered a permanent contract if you are looking for longer-term work.
