Corporate Secretary

Salary: £47,514 - £55,914 per annum
The BFI is seeking a Corporate Secretary to provide strategic support to the Chief Executive, Executive Board and Board of Governors in the delivery of the BFI’s aims and overall responsibilities, aligned to the BFI ten-year strategy Screen Culture 2033.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Chief Executive and the Chair in the delivery of their strategic priorities and initiatives
- Developing and providing the Chair and CEO with accurate, appropriate and timely briefings.
- Provide guidance and support to Executive Board and Governors on matters of governance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Executive Directors and Board of Governors
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Demonstrable experience of working at a strategic level in planning and supporting strategy execution.
- Solid experience of corporate governance and structures, including supporting senior management and Boards.
- The ability to write clearly and effectively for a wide range of internal and external audiences and produce high-quality presentations.
- Experience of managing and readjusting changing priorities, working across a variety of stakeholders.
