The BFI is seeking a Corporate & Public Affairs Manager to support the smooth, timely and accurate delivery of BFI messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- To maintain and build positive relations working closely with the press team, BFI Executive and senior managers, former Governors; plus Royal, DCMS policy officials, and National Lottery Forum stakeholders
- To plan and manage the drafting, production and delivery process of the BFI Annual Review
- Providing support for response to FOI requests, parliamentary questions (PQs), parliamentary debates and parliamentary committee enquiries
- Managing the BFI’s relationship with the All Party Parliamentary Film & Broader Screen Group
- Assisting with copywriting draft words for use in introductions, forewords, briefings and other instances as required
Experience & Skills
- Experience of working in a Corporate communications, Press or Public Affairs environment, ideally in a media or cultural organisation
- Knowledge and understanding of the parliamentary process and workings of Government departments
- Experience working in both public and private sectors and the role and importance of reputation management
- Experience of planning and running events effectively, both online and in person
