Glasgow Film Theatre is looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join their team.
The successful candidate will be a champion for fair and equal access to cinema. They will work to ensure that as many people as possible can access the cinema, and engage with and benefit from participation in our programmes. The role will specifically focus on understanding the cultural needs of our local community, people who face systemic inequalities and disadvantage and people currently under-represented in our audiences. The post-holder will champion best practice across the organisation helping Glasgow Film embed and further develop our understanding of anti-racism and intersectionality. The role will work closely with colleagues across Glasgow Film to build on the success of our existing flagship equalities initiatives, identify new opportunities to sustain their impact, reaching new audiences and nurturing new partnerships.
