The Royal Opera House is recruiting for two Cinema and Digital Distribution Coordinators.
The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. The work of its Audiences and Media Team focuses on growing the love, advocacy and demand for the art presented by the Royal Opera House and seeks to grow its audience-generated revenues.
The role
The Royal Opera House is recruiting for two Cinema and Digital Distribution Coordinators to support its work with its cinema and digital distribution partners.
Reporting to the Head of Cinema and Digital Distribution, you will provide services to ROH partners for all designated cinema and digital distribution activities. This entails maintaining contact with the UK-based cinema chains and providing service support for cinema partners and their international distributors as well as data management and reporting on sales.
As ROH expands its digital distribution base, you will develop and broaden your skills in this area as well. This role offers a development opportunity with comprehensive training if you are looking to grow your skills and understanding of the business activities in the cinema and distribution sector.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, able to demonstrate:
- Some experience in a similar role in media, cinema or the digital sector
- Ability and commitment to provide an effective and reliable service to partners and distributors across UK and international territories
- Highly proficient MS Office skills, including Excel and highly proficient with databases, able to design and extract reports
- High level of numeracy, able to produce a high standard of work with data reporting, analysis and data presentation
- Consistent high level of service delivery and responsiveness and ability to deal effectively with situations which may arise at short notice
- Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role.
