Ffilm Cymru Wales has been working to grow a fairer, greener, and more inclusive film sector since 2006. Alongside our partners and the brilliant filmmakers we support, we’ve seen the film landscape in Wales flourish. We’ve backed new voices, nurtured homegrown talent, and championed stories that reflect the richness and diversity of life in Wales. We’ve made it our business to understand the challenges and creative opportunities that lie ahead, strategising to help the sector thrive through these exciting, changing times.
We’re now looking for new Board Members to help shape the next phase of our work. You don’t need to come from the film industry, we’re keen to hear from people with different skills, life experiences, and perspectives. What matters most is your commitment to building a Welsh film culture that’s ambitious, accessible, and representative of everyone who calls this place home. Wrth i ni edrych at ddyfodol byd ffilm yng Nghymru, rydym yn gwahodd unigolion sy’n credu ym mhŵer straeon i wneud gwahaniaeth, i ymuno â ni.
Mae Ffilm Cymru Wales wedi bod yn gweithio i dyfu sector ffilm tecach, gwyrddach a mwy cynhwysol ers 2006. Ochr yn ochr â’n partneriaid a’r gwneuthurwyr ffilmiau gwych rydyn ni’n eu cefnogi, rydyn ni wedi gweld y dirwedd ffilm yng Nghymru yn ffynnu. Rydyn ni wedi cefnogi lleisiau newydd, wedi meithrin talent o’n gwlad ein hunain, ac wedi dod â sylw i straeon sy’n adlewyrchu cyfoeth ac amrywiaeth bywyd yng Nghymru. Rydyn ni wedi ei gwneud yn ddyletswydd arnom ddeall yr heriau a’r cyfleoedd creadigol sydd o’n blaenau, gan lunio strategaethau i helpu’r sector i ffynnu drwy’r cyfnod cyffrous a newidiol hwn.
Rydyn ni nawr yn chwilio am Aelodau Bwrdd newydd i helpu i lunio cam nesaf ein gwaith. Nid oes angen i chi ddod o’r diwydiant ffilm – rydyn ni’n awyddus i glywed gan bobl sydd â gwahanol sgiliau, profiadau bywyd a safbwyntiau. Yr hyn sydd bwysicaf yw eich ymrwymiad i adeiladu diwylliant ffilm yng Nghymru sy’n uchelgeisiol, yn hygyrch, ac yn cynrychioli pawb sy’n galw’r lle hwn yn gartref. Os yw hyn yn berthnasol i chi, byddem wrth ein bodd yn clywed gennych.
