Assistant Management Accountant

Salary: £30,141 - £35,622 per annum

The BFI are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to provide financial services, including supporting budgeting, management accounting, performance and trend analysis and reporting of financial management information to relevant operating units within the BFI. 

Fixed Term Contract: 12 Months

A key part of this role will be to support and liaise with non-financially trained managers and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the production of accurate and timely management accounts for relevant areas. Primarily acting as the financial business partner with management teams to help maximise control costs.
  • Assisting in producing annual budgets, working closely with the management teams, supporting the process through co-ordination, analysis and reporting.
  • Also assisting in producing quarterly forecasts, following the same responsibilities as the budget, on a more top level and streamlined basis.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A commercial / industry or charity background.
  • Part qualified accountant qualification, CIMA / ACCA or equivalent.
  • Good financial modelling skills, including strong Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including report writing.
