The BFI is seeking an Assistant Curator to join their Curatorial team.
You will assist in researching, curating and building the collections and content to appear on the BFI Player Archive, an online platform delivering public access via registered public libraries across the UK.
You will provide support and assistance to the Curators, researching, creating and writing contextual material on historical British film, television and video. This will be largely based on videotape collections made available on the BFI Player Archive platform and digitised through the Heritage 2022 project, which will digitise at least 100,000 video works from the collections of the BFI and partner archives by 2022 in order to preserve the collections for future generations.

The role is predominantly based at Stephen Street, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotely from home for the foreseeable future.
