Events Apprentice

Salary: £3.50 per hour (national wage rate for apprentices)

Showroom Workstation is an integrated media arts complex operating a café/bar, conference and events facilities, four screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

They are looking for applicants under the age of 19 interested in doing a one year events apprenticeship.

The purpose of the role is to provide general assistance to the Events Manager and Commercial Department as a whole, ensuring that administrative tasks are undertaken efficiently and within set time scales.

Assisting the Events Manager with planning prior to events and the delivery/execution of pre-booked events including serving of food and beverages and room set-ups as required. Liaising with customers via email, telephone and in person and being responsible for the Conference & Events Sales line in the absence of the Commercial Manager.
