GDPR for FHSE Cinemas - Reading

03/05/2018

South Street Arts Centre, Reading

This training course is exclusively for members of Film Hub South East.

What is GDPR? Should I be panicking about it? How does it affect how cinemas do business?

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into effect on 25th May 2018 and your venue needs to have a clear plan on how it affects you and your customers. This seminar, open to the members of Film Hub South East, will explain what that means for cinemas and other film exhibitors – from those using box office systems such as Eventbrite to small organisations keeping paper-based records. Look at GDPR as your springboard for your organisation’s smart use of customer data.

Leo Sharrock, Director of Data Platforms at The Audience Agency will deliver this event specifically designed for cinemas. He will explain how it will affect your organisation and how to prepare for it.

The event will run from 1.30pm to 5pm approx. and will include a short break.

Open to Film Hub South East members, this event is suitable for anyone in your organisation who has access to, collects or handles data in any way.
