James joined the Independent Cinema Office in July 2017 after spending two years at the Kino-Teatr in St. Leonards-on-Sea as its Programming Manager. He completed his BA in Digital Film the year beforehand, during which he was responsible for setting up the University’s first Film Society and establishing the first University of Brighton Student Film Festival; a model which is still running today. Not just a lover of watching film, he has made several shorts of his own, as well as working on and starring as an extra in a Bollywood film.
