Rose is one of the ICO’s film programmers, joining the team after several years working across film exhibition. She previously spent four years as a film programmer for Picturehouse Cinemas, where she developed their RepHouse offer across key repertory venues. Before this, she worked as an-house film programmer for the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield. Rose also has over a decade of experience working in higher education, teaching as an associate lecturer in film and screenwriting; as a researcher and writer, she has published a number of chapters and essays on international horror and genre cinema, and has contributed to Widescreen Weekend Festival, Science Fiction Theatre, and Magdalen Movie Mondays at Magdalen College, Oxford.
