Tilly Walnes (Training and Development Officer)
Tilly studied French and Philosophy at UCL, which included a year in Paris (mostly spent in the city's cinemas). After a brief stint in marketing, she spent three years working in the Education department of the BFI. Projects included coordinating an international conference on media education and managing distance learning courses in Film Journalism and Programming Cultural Cinema. Her free waking hours are currently spent studying for an MA at Birkbeck in History of Film and Visual Media. She was pleased to join the ICO in April 2007.
