Steffan Thomas (Cinema Programmer, Galeri)
Joined Galeri Caernarfon in January 2005 (venue opened in April 2005) after gaining an MSc degree at Aberystwyth University. Worked as a Marketing / Programming Coordinator - linking the marketing and programming departments, and was also responsible for programming the (part-time) cinema. The cinema has developed a lot since 2005 – with more regular screenings, film projects, workshops, an annual film festival for Children and Young people – which all help in developing (new) audiences. Steffan will soon take over the role of marketing manager at Galeri – but will continue in his role as cinema programmer.
