Mark Cosgrove (Programmer, Watershed)
Mark Cosgrove has worked in independent film exhibition for 15 years. He started as programmer for Plymouth Arts Centre, followed by Education Officer at Manchester Cornerhouse. He is currently Head of Exhibition at Watershed Media Centre and Artistic Director of Brief Encounters Short Film Festival. He has programmed and toured work including New Portuguese Cinema, The Cinema of Fukasaku Kinji and artist filmmaker John Smith, for which he also edited an accompanying publication. Other writing includes work on J. Lee Thompson.
