What do we do?
Established in July 2003, the Independent Cinema Office is a national organisation that aims to develop and support independent film exhibition throughout the UK.
The ICO works in association with independent cinemas, film festivals, film societies and the regional and national screen agencies.

Special projects include
The ICO is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. It is governed by a board of trustees and has an advisory group comprising partners and stakeholders.
The ICO is funded by the UK Film Council, the British Film Institute and Arts Council England.
