Films
Once again ¡Viva! audiences across the UK have the chance to discover the new talents in the world of Spanish and Latin American Cinema. This year's tour includes the work of established filmmakers in new guises, the directorial debut of Mexico's most prolific export Gael García Bernal and Almodóvar's early collaborator Antonio Banderas with his second feature at the helm. The 2008 Viva tour reaches back into the past with features set in the 70's and 80s, including historical events given a fictional bent and tackling class struggles affecting young and old.
