Marketing film to culturally diverse audiences

Date: This one day course is available on two separate dates Tuesday 26 June OR Tuesday 10 July, 9.45am – 5.00pm
This is an essential one-day training course aimed at London's independent film exhibitors — including cinemas, film festivals, film societies and arts centres — who wish to broaden the range of audiences attending their screenings. The course will be lead by Rebekah Polding, manager of Film London's Audience Development team who works with and supports exhibition organisations across the capital. A panel of experienced marketers will share information on how to respond to the diversity of potential audiences in London. The day will also include a session on taking advantage of e-marketing tools.
The course will include sessions on the following:
- Introduction to specialised film marketing
- E-marketing — how to make the most of your website, email list and social networking sites
- Tips on improving your marketing materials
- Case studies of good, guerilla practice
- Targeting culturally diverse audiences — advice on developing Black, Asian and Eastern European audiences

Thanks to the support of Film London this is a free course.

To ensure as many organizations as possible are able to benefit, only one place on either course per organization will be available.
