Encounters International Film Festival

This course is run in partnership with Encounters International Film Festival, the umbrella festival for Animated Encounters and Brief Encounters, which together presents one of the world’s best-known showcases and meeting points for new and established international short film and animation talent. The largest short film festival of its kind in the UK, and one of Bristol’s leading cultural events, Encounters seeks to promote the importance of short film as a means to develop and progress the next generation of UK film and animation talent. The 2010 festival takes place in Bristol between 16 – 21 November. Encounters is kindly providing the venue for this course, and offering a 10% discount on festival passes for course delegates.
