Now in its fifth year, Developing Your Film Festival is a unique training course that will allow you to:

  • Understand how to put your festival on the path to longevity and creativity

  • Find new routes to develop audiences as well as income

  • Exchange ideas and practices with other international film festivals that share your concerns

  • Learn how to connect with partners and collaborators that can take your festival to the next level AND…

  • Visit one of Europe’s most picturesque festivals in a UNESCO World Heritage site.

DYFF will answer the questions that matter most for your specific festival. The course is taught through presentations from leading film industry experts, practical workshops focusing on participants’ own festivals, participant-led discussions on the major challenges and opportunities facing festivals today, plus one-to-one advisory sessions.

Now open to festivals worldwide!

For the first time we are now able to offer places to film festival professionals from outside Europe. We hope that this will help all participants broaden their festival horizons and lead to unique collaborations.
