The 'D' Word* Screening Days is your chance to see some of the most exciting new films showcasing BAME* talent and engage with key debates about diversifying UK cinema audiences. The day will include specially curated screenings that will provide tangible content for programmers who wish to diversify their programme. We’ll give you inspiration and confidence about broadening your audience and programme with debates and lectures from some of the top voices in the field. We’ll hear from pioneers who can empower you with practical examples of how the principles of diversity could transform your venue. You’ll leave the day with the changes you could make to your programme to attract diverse audiences for a range of content and some practical ideas to ensure your core programme reflects the complexity of all your possible audiences.
The event took place at Rich Mix in London on Tuesday 15 September 2015.

“Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without the screening days! They are a huge help in programming the festivals - make my programming much more efficient - and I love attending.”
