Films
When selecting films for the ICO Screening Days, we strive to secure a range of forthcoming releases, to provide a diverse and interesting programme that will engage programmers from across the sector.
The following films have been confirmed for the programme:
- Café de Flore - Jean-Marc Vallée (The Young Victoria, C.R.A.Z.Y.) returns to French-language filmmaking with this powerful and unconventional love story with Vanessa Paradis.
- The Fairy (La fée) - third feature from anarchic comedy trio Dominique Abel, Fiona Gordon and Bruno Romy, who bought us Rumba.
- Goodbye First Love (Un amour de jeunesse) - Mia Hansen-Løve’s (Father of My Children) semi-autobiographical film about an ill-fated teenage love affair.
- A Royal Affair (En kongelig affære) - hot from its double win at Berlin, a dramatic period piece based on the love affair between King Kristian VII's physician Johan Struensee (Mads Mikkelsen), and the Queen of Denmark, Caroline Mathilda.
- Where Do We Go Now? (Et maintenant, on va où?) - heartfelt and charming musical follow-up to director Nadine Labaki's widely successful Caramel.
The completed schedule of films will be emailed to delegates and available to download closer to the event. We will announce titles as and when they are confirmed but cannot circulate a confirmed schedule before the registration deadline as the majority of material is confirmed very near the event as the films are previews. Please note we reserve the right to alter or cancel screenings.
Films shown at the last ICO Screening Days event included, The Artist, Bombay Beach, Carnage, Coriolanus, A Dangerous Method, The Descendents, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, Shame and many more. For more details visit our previous events pages.
