Screening Days – December 2006

Venue: Watershed Media Centre & Arnolfini, Bristol

Date: Saturday 2 December – Monday 4 December 2006

"A great three days, many thanks to all involved."

Many thanks to the 140 people who attended our Autumn Screening Days event in Bristol. The three days were packed full of preview screenings and also featured archive and artist moving image works. Once again, we were grateful to Filmbank for sponsoring the drinks reception. This valuable contribution enabled us to provide a time and space for delegates to meet the ICO, the BFFS, representatives from Filmbank and each other in a friendly and informal setting. Delegates also had the opportunity to show off their knowledge of industry trivia in our film quiz, contact fellow film societies via the message board and sign up to receive one-to-one advice from a number of specialists through our surgeries.

Programme

The programme of films were chosen from a range of forthcoming independent releases, some hot off the reels from recent film festivals, and there were opportunities to see shorts and archive material. Go to the Films page for more details on each of the films shown.
