Shape, the UK's leading arts organisation for deaf and disabled people presents Link Up Media Career Development Day

Link Up is a unique career development programme developed by Shape, the UK's leading arts organisation for deaf and disabled people. The programme provides invaluable insights and practical information on finding employment and developing a career, particularly within the creative industries.
This special event is targeted at people already working in the industry as well as those seeking to make a break in this innovative and fascinating area. We look forward to welcoming you to a stimulating day of speakers, networking and workshops.
Speakers for the event have been drawn from across the fields of Media and broadcasting and include:
- Vidar Hjardeng, ITV political correspondent
A series of workshops in the afternoon will be led by experienced professionals from the world of Media including:
- Caglar Kimyoncu, renowned director and co-founder of the London Disability Film Festival
Plus information and advice from representatives of London and national media organisations including; Film London and Skillset.
Whether your interest is in Media, Filmmaking or Journalism, or whichever area in the fascinating field of Media interests you, we aim to offer a comprehensive and stimulating day around getting into this fascinating area or work.
