Programme Director (Deputy CEO)
Cornerhouse, Manchester
Cornerhouse has merged its Cinemas and Visual Arts departments to create a single programme team. This is an opportunity for a talented and highly motivated programming professional to create a new programme and a new team to deliver it. This is a huge opportunity to play an important leadership role in creating something truly significant.
Our ideal candidate will be used to balancing demanding artistic and financial objectives. Have great ideas and be excellent at encouraging, realising and working with concepts from artists, filmmakers, colleagues, audiences and partners. Core to the way that you work will be highly developed communication skills. You will have team leadership and programming experience and can demonstrate a track record of programme innovation, together with an in-depth knowledge of the contemporary visual arts and film.

Sales & Marketing Assistant
Park Circus, Glasgow
Due to continued expansion, Park Circus is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team in the role of Sales & Marketing Assistant, based in Glasgow.
The role would suit someone with an interest in working within the film industry and, in particular, the film distribution sector.
The key aspects of the role include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with cinemas, film festivals & film societies.
- Using and maintaining the company’s rights management database.
- Manage bookings from exhibitors.
- Prepare license agreements and invoices.
- Administer and track print despatch, working with our various storage facilities.
- Managing the supply of marketing material to exhibitors.
- Handling general enquiries from the press and public.
- Maintaining records and files.
- General office administration and other tasks, as required to fulfil the role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a high proficiency in information technology. The job may involve some travel and attendance at film festivals, as well as the occasional need to work evenings or weekends.
Salary: £14,500 + benefits.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working within a cinema, festival, cultural or film industry environment, possesses excellent project management and communication skills, coupled with exceptional leadership capability and a proven track record of developing and implementing a forward-thinking artistic strategy.
