Saffron Screen, Saffron Walden

Saffron Screen is a new independent community cinema serving Saffron Walden and its surrounding area. It is based in Saffron Walden County High School and is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with additional screenings in the school holidays, showing a range of mainstream, independent, art-house and children's films. Films are shown in a comfortable new 202 seat auditorium with a widescreen and full surround sound. The cinema opened in May 2006 and in their first year welcomed 30,000 customers.
