"Sweeping, dramatic and grand in scale, Hors la loi has the feel of The Godfather or Once Upon a Time in America."
Toronto International Film Festival

Following on from the critically-acclaimed Days of Glory (Indigènes) , director Rachid Bouchareb (London River) brings us the OSCAR-nominated Outside the Law.

After losing their family home in Algeria, three brothers - played by celebrated French actors Jamel Debbouze, Sami Bouajila and Roschdy Zem - are scattered across the globe. Messaoud (Zem) joins the French army fighting in Indochina; Abdelkader (Bouajila) becomes a leader of the Algerian independence movement in France and Saïd (Debbouze) moves to Paris to make his fortune in the shady clubs and boxing halls of Pigalle. As Abdelkader and Messaoud become more and more zealous in their quest for justice, their interconnecting destinies reunite them in Paris, where their paths diverge towards radical politics and violent crime.
