Director’s biography

After graduating from the Northern Media School, Annie Watson edited numerous short films, including director Chris Cooke's Shifting Units and Map of the Scars. She has written and directed seven other short films, including The Grin and Knitting Annie and has directed eight pop promos, including Monsters Daydream in Blue (nominated Video of the Year 2002 QMagazine). Annie lives in Sheffield and is currently barefoot, pregnant and writing the feature-length follow-up to Knitting a Love Song.
